Keycloak Production HA Cluster on Kubernetes
K8s deployment with Infinispan caching, PostgreSQL 16, blue-green rollouts, and full observability. Targets 99.9%+ availability.
Overview
We deploy a production-hardened Keycloak cluster on Kubernetes with automated scaling, liveness and readiness health checks, and blue-green deployments for zero-downtime upgrades. The data layer uses PostgreSQL 16 in a primary-replica configuration with automated failover. Infinispan handles distributed session caching and cross-node state replication. Prometheus and Grafana give your ops team real-time visibility into authentication latency, error rates, and cluster health, with alerting rules pre-configured. The cluster targets 99.9%+ availability; actual uptime depends on your underlying cloud infrastructure and redundancy configuration. The disaster recovery runbook covers backup schedules, point-in-time restore procedures, and failover drills.
